The Supple Rocker chairs are protected by various intellectual property rights, including design patent rights, trade dress, trademark rights, and copyrights. Chair designs are protected under US Design Pat. No. 647,712. US TM Reg. No. 4,920,340 protects the unique ticket stub chair back. US TM Reg. 4,883,281 protects the configuration of baseball bats forming arms and front legs of a chair. US TM Reg. No. 4,864,738 protects the configuration of baseball bats forming arm rests and rear legs of a chair.

Common law and other unregistered trade dress, copyrights, and design rights may apply to various features and combinations of features in the chairs.
